Apple-Ginger

Sweet, Tart and Tangy Oyster Topping

Apple-Ginger

Ingredients:
 
  • 1/4 Cup + 1 tablespoon cider vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons of minced shallots

  • 1/2 tablespoon finely grated peeled fresh ginger

  • 1 Cup finely chopped sweet apple (Honeycrisp [preferred], Fuji, Golden Delicious)

  • 1 Cup Hot Water

  • 3 Heaping Spoons of Sugar

Directions:
 
  1. Mix all ingredients

  2. In 1 cup hot water, dissolve three large spoons of sugar and pour over ingredients.

  3. Let stand/cool in refrigerator
