Thank you for supporting the Children of Valor mission: To provide consistent, expert academic and developmental support to children from Special Operations Forces families. The Lynnhaven Oyster Club donates oysters and time to events like these to thank donors for their generosity.
The Oysters*
These oysters are raised in the Eastern Branch of the Lynnhaven River.
Lynnhaven Legend Oysters*
We are entering the prime fall season for Lynnhaven Legend oysters. Start off plain, sip the liquor and savor the plain simplicity of the oyster. Then try and combine today's raw bar offerings.

Homemade Mignonettes & Ponzu
After trying an oyster in its naked form, use small amounts of these toppings to vary the taste profile. What is your favorite?
French Mignonette
Classic French Mignonettes combine vinegar, shallots, salt & pepper. Color is obtained by mixing various portions of white and red wine vinegars.

Pomegranate Mignonette
Champagne vinegar, pomegranate juice & seeds, shallots and cracked pepper.

Ponzu
Ponzu is a soy-sauce base combined with citrus and other complimentary ingredients. Pair LOC's prized homemade ponzu with fresh green onion to provide texture so be sure to give it a good chew!

Oysters on the half shell are raw.
Slightly steamed and/or roasted oysters are considered undercooked.
