LOC to help Children of Valor

A concert benefit, hosted by Elevation 27 and organized by Children of Valor, this event supports their mission in providing educational services to service member families. Get tickets here to support this worthy cause and enjoy music of the Rolling Stones by the Wilder Horses band. Stop by the raw bar and say hello!

LRN: Volunteer Appreciation Event

If you volunteer for Lynnhaven River Now, we will be seeing you at their upcoming volunteer appreciation event at New Realm Brewing in Virginia Beach. LOC will provide several hundred oysters and is on hand to shuck at the raw bar.

Heads Up: Membership renewals and new member registrations

Thank you to legacy and 2025 members that have voiced their commitment to the 2026 season.

We have special plans for this coming season, so shuckle-up and get ready for a unique farm-to-table oyster experience. Over the next three months, we will be sending informative emails and renewal options. These emails will help you decide if you want to join us for the 2026 season and the type of membership best suited for you.

Key Timeframes and Tasks:

2026 Save the Date Calendar
Use the 2026 Save the Date Calendar to assess if you have any conflicts with the established event dates. If you have several conflicts, you might consider a Tier 2 membership so you can only pay for tickets for events you can attend.

  • Decide if you want to be a Tier 1 or Tier 2 member. Tier 1 is all-inclusive membership that includes all pop-up events.

Tier 2 does not bundle any additional events. Thus, Tier 2 members would need to purchase event tickets separately.

The difference between a Tier 1 membership cost, and a Tier 2 membership cost plus tickets for every event, is negligible. But let's face it, if you plan on attending events, why go through the hassle of purchasing pop-up tickets?

To help you decide, we have put together a near total 2026 event calendar: Use the 2026 Save the Date Calendar to see if you have conflicts or to help you save the dates and commit to the best membership for you.

  • November-December: Returning member renewal period.

Following New Years, we will assess the number of returning members and determine how many new member invitations will go out. New member invitations are based on current member referrals and those who have put their names on our waitlist.

  • New member registrations will start January 1, 2026, and will be due January 31. NOTE: our first event for 2026 is January 31 so save the date!
