On Water Pop-Up:
LOC’s end of summer pop-up was an on-water event in which members met at low tide on the sandbar opposite the Brock Environmental Center. We served up LOC oysters from our main site in the Lynnhaven and our wet storage site in Broad Bay.
Even though these sites are relatively close, the water is different which contributes to the two oyster’s distinctive merroir. Remarkable!
